Contact The Umbel Journal
Readers can write to The Umbel Journal at contact@eriogonum.org when they spot a correction, want to suggest a source or have a question about an article. Plain, short messages with the page name are the easiest to act on.
What you can send
- A correction, with the page address and the sentence that needs review.
- A public source such as a flora treatment, a native plant society page or a herbarium record that supports or contradicts a point.
- A question about identifying a wild buckwheat, growing one from seed, or planting and pruning in a dry western garden.
- A note about the domain's history, if you hold records of the old Eriogonum Society pages.
How the editorial team handles messages
The Umbel Journal editorial team reads each message and checks the point against the named public sources before changing a page. The team does not promise a reply time. A plant that needs urgent identification advice for a garden decision is better served by a local native plant society chapter or a cooperative extension office, which can see the plant, the site and the season at once.
